Food Pantry

At AOG, we are committed to fighting food insecurity by ensuring individuals and families have access to nutritious meals. Our food pantry, mobile distributions, home deliveries, and emergency food assistance provide critical support to those facing hardship.

Beyond meeting basic needs, our food programs offer hope, dignity, and relief to those experiencing difficult times. Whether through a stocked pantry or emergency assistance, we are here to ensure that no one in our community has to go hungry.

MOBILE EVENTS

Mobile Food Pantry

The Mobile Food Pantry is expanding its reach to provide even greater access to nutritious food for communities throughout Richmond. By bringing essential resources directly to those in need, this initiative helps overcome barriers like transportation and accessibility, ensuring that more individuals and families can receive the food support they rely on.

Pantry FAQ

Our pantry is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM for urgent food needs (food provided will last a day or two). No need to call ahead; we will have something for you here! Ring the doorbell, and staff or volunteers will assist you outside. One food bag is provided per person/household.

Anyone in need of more food should call us at (804) 308-2548 between 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM to schedule an appointment. These appointments will provide you with non-perishable, refrigerated, and frozen foods to last several days. We allow one appointment per household each week, based on availability at the time we speak to you.

We offer very limited home deliveries on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, by appointment only and subject to availability. We are here to help and look forward to doing so! Let us know if you have any questions or concerns!

We could not do the work we do without the support of volunteers. We value all of our volunteers who donate their time and resources to assist us in supporting our community.

Our commitment to providing consistent and reliable resources, has been made possible through the generous support of donors like you.
